so wednesday was sri tenby's councillor election day
i wrote my speech on monday
and memorized it on tuesday
i took 15 minutes to fully memorize it
i practiced so many times
and kept editing and editing
i can still remember it clearly now.
had the elections during assembly time
which was before lunch
form 1s started first
the soni boy was funnay xD
i found a plaster backstage
practiced the speech again
then form 2s went
then it was the form 3s' turn
raysha was first,
nina was second
rayshena was third
and i was last to go :)
when mr kwa announced my turn, i felt like fainting
but i kept laughing

so typical intan shazia (aiyoo)
presenting, my speech-
"good afternoon to puan lee, principal of sekolah sri tenby, teachers and students. i am intan shazia and i'm from form 3S. as you all know, i was a councillor last year. *shows tie* pretty tie,right? :D
i must say, i enjoyed every minute of it despite of all the responsibilities given. there were days where i had to sacrifice my lunch time and some events which i had to be on duty instead of participating. *shrug*
having experience as a councillor means should i be elected, i will carry out my duties even better with more confidence and understanding. i get along well with students from both SST and TIS which makes things easier because we need to work as a team.
i want to contribute to the school in whatever ways i can. if i'm elected, you can come to me and tell me your ideas. i will voice them out during councillor meeting to the board and hey, who knows? maybe your ideas will be fulfilled and they're pretty awesome!
mr crombie said something about concentrating more on the environment in school,
i thought maybe all the classes from both schools will plant one tree. the school will look so much greener and prettier :D
either that or we can have one huge wall where all students will gather and put their handprints there. since the wall's pretty big, students entering the school in coming years will also get to have their handprints! tenby's motto is 'A UNITED WORLD AT PEACE-through education', the wall will show how united we are but not through education though. it's ok, we'll still have fun :D
before i end my speech, i want to remind my friends from F3S, please remember to 'think twice and vote wise'. you know you still wanna have fun even with PMR around. so, if you want fun, we need some changes. if we need changes, we gotta remember what barack obama said,
CHANGE WE NEED.YES WE CAN!

when i ended my speech, the crowd was amazing.
i was touched when they clapped like never before and shouted 'woooo!' or 'go intaaaaan!'
naim and some other friends shouted 'TIMOOOOOOON!'
that was the best part. LOL
oh btw, while i was giving my speech, i looked at everyone but mainly concentrated on farah.
there was one time when i looked at mark and laughed. stoner face :)
after all the speeches, pn lee talked to the form 4s for shouting 'timun' after i gave my speech
pn lee doesnt know that it was support, not calling names >:)
why timun? cause i always drink winter melon tea which looks like cucumber
and so timun's like my nickname and i love it
but hell no, i definitely do not cucumber.
i dont even like the smell of it.
this is so off topic now. LOL
